FAQ

Does the video upload?

No. Your browser reads the file, captures frames and encodes the GIF locally.

Which videos work?

MP4, WebM, MOV and MKV work only when the browser can decode the video track. Try Chrome or an MP4/WebM file if yours cannot be read.

What are the limits?

Choose up to 15 seconds, 225 frames and 50 MB of GIF output. Frames must fit one megapixel. Smaller widths and 10 fps reduce size and memory use.

Will the GIF have sound?

No. GIF stores images only. Use Video to MP3 to keep the audio.
